Monster Differences

For the next couple of weeks, we will be learning about differences between people. Everyone is so very different and it is important to show that no matter how different someone might be, we need to accept them for who they are.

I have created a story that I will share with the kids in class and I have shared it on my website so that parents can have access to it if children would like to read it again. 

This story helps fulfill the Kindergarten Social Studies standard 1, which states "students will recognize and describe how individuals and families are both similar and different."

This also helps fulfill the Ed Tech Standard 5 which states "use of technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom."
