Revolution Changes the World

Revolution is: 1. A forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.
                        2. A dramatic and wide-reaching change in the way something works or is organized
or in people's ideas about it.

This week we are focusing on Revolution. We will be looking at the many different Revolutions that have occurred in history, famous or infamous revolutionaries, and the process to revolution. What causes a revolution? Is a revolution always good or can it be bad too?

To help me teach this concept, I have created a video to help introduce this topic.
This video helps to fulfill the 6th Grade Social studies Standard 3 which says, "Students will understand how revolutions have had an impact on the modern world."

This video also helps full fill the Ed Tech Standard 10 which says "evaluate the accuracy, relevance, appropriateness, comprehensiveness and bias of electronic information sources."
